Served from a Growler filled at the Dayton Beer Company. Served in a shaker pint glass
Appearance: Slightly hazy gold to amber, but a little on the “dirty” side – not quite as clear cut in color between gold and amber. Thin persistent white head with some lacing noted.
Smell: Grainy, a bit herbal and pungent in hop aroma.
Taste: Nicely hoppy with some notable pine and grapefruit. Cracker-like malt backbone. Persistent bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, good thickness. Just right.
Overall / Drinkability: Not a really great beer to look at, but tasty and easily drinkable. Did have another glass of it and found it went well with food. A simple but hoppy IPA.
