I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an clear rich amber with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle malt and coffee notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bold coffee presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

12 ounce can, no dating on it that I could find. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear dark reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around for a bit. Good amount of lacing, too. I like the aroma, the brew smells like milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnuts, dark bread and roasted malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some cream flavors noticeable too. Mostly a sweeter tasting brown ale but the coffee is there for sure. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a tasty coffee brown ale, recommend it to those who like sweeter tasting coffee beers. I liked it!
