I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a clear copper with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle malt and bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

On tap at Dayton Beer Company. Served in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Clear/bright gold approaching amber color. Thin white head with a few strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Leafy, freshly peeled citrus rind.
Taste: A bit bitter and sour at first, but then as it warmed up the sour tart went away and was replaced with a lemon-orange hoppy note that dominated the start and finish. There was some underlying berry notes. Bready malt for balance, but hop flavors and bitterness dominated.
Mouthfeel: Just right thickness. Sticky on the teeth. Good carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: Pleasantly hoppy for a APA, and not excessively bitter, but with a dry hopped beer certainly the hops are dominating the flavor here. The sign in the brewery did not say what the hops were in this, so I'm guessing they went with what they normally use for Patterson Pale and double dry hopped it. Refreshing on a late summer evening and I could have easily had another, although I think I would prefer to pair this with food. Very nice.
