A crisp, light-bodied golden ale. This Kolsch style beer has hints of citrus and white pepper and is lagered to give it a smooth, crisp finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops, some citrus fruit and biscuit malt. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops and biscuit malt nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.

ALPHABET CITY (aka Shmaltz) EASY BLONDE KOLSCH 8/26/16
First up from the latest beer club shipment.
a: Nearly clear gold with an inch thick white head which receded to thin surface foam and spotty lacing.
s; Slight light fruit leaning to lemon
t: Follows the nose over a medium biscuit malt base. Dry to very slightly sour finish.
m: Light to medium, good body and lots of carbonation tingle.
o: A good represenataion of the style, a bit more substantial than many "summer ales,"
