Pours a thick copper with little head. Extreme citrus aromas give way to an extremely delightful up front and well balanced bitter citrus hop profile throughout. Utter bitter goodness subdued for a NE style with excellent dry hopped flavor. Superb mouthfeel and ultimately smooth finish. This is the best beer I’ve had from WBC. Awesome!!!

A: Pours a murky + slightly milky golden burnt orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + burnt orange + bright orange + brassy colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy very light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium to large patch of thick film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer and a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, citrus/orange pith, tropical/mango, and tropical/passionfruit hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, citrus/orange pith, tropical/mango, and tropical/passionfruit hops with a hint of herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving lingering tropical + pithy orange hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very enjoyable hop profile - very enjoyable pithy orange which isn't present in that many NEIPAs.

Smooth, creamy beer with a nose full of orange, grapefruit and pine. Sweet and carbonated with a lot of orange and grapefruit flavors that are washed away by a moderate pith and pine bitterness. Pretty damn tasty.

Appearance: Pours a murky orange juice color with a thick one finger head; good retention and splashes of lace

Smell: Mango and orange, with pith and passionfruit tones

Taste: Orange flavors emerge first, bringing the pith and the passionfruit; some mango softens out the profile, after the initial citrus burst; the bitterness is a bit higher than moderate and drives home the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body and somewhat creamy with moderate carbonation

Overall: This NE IPA keeps the sweetness in check and is not overly juicy; instead, it brings a good citrus character
