Appearance - Pours a raspberry pink with three fingers of pink bubbly head.
Smell - tart raspberries, earthy and leafy hops, wheat malts, hint of lemon, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold tart raspberries upfront. The earthy and leafy hops, wheat malts, and hint of lemon follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes sticky along with a pleasant tartness from the raspberries.
Overall - A bold and flavourful raspberry sour that definitely takes raspberry at the forefront. Very pungent and bold flavours throughout!

Review from notes, 473 ml can served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Slightly hazy, pink salmon colored brew with a finger of off-white head. Good retention.
Smell - Raspberries all the way and fairly organic aromas, the smell is not artificial or forced. Slightly sour towards the end.
Taste - Plenty of tart raspberry mixed in with a grainy body. Sour at the close. Pretty balanced overall.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light body, carbonation is a bit lighter than usual. Robust raspberry finish.
Overall - A pretty solid raspberry beer, would have liked to have picked up another can or two while it was available.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 18 2019 and served well chilled. I'll admit it: after a full month of reviewing basically nothing else, I'm sick of fruit beers. Even still, I couldn't pass this one up, because beers from PEI are kind of a rarity here in Ontario.
Pours hazy and murky, nearing opaque but not quite there; its body is a lovely magenta-purple hue, topped with one finger of smooth, creamy, light pink-tinged head that lingers for the better part of five minutes. A thick collar of foam remains in place, surrounding a patchy cap - not much lace, but it still looks great to me. The nose is appealing, but fairly straightforward - I'm getting mostly tart raspberry juice and jammy sweetness, underlain by subtler notes of wheaty, bready palt malts and a low hum of lactic acidity.
A solid, approachable raspberry sour - not particularly sour, so even newbies and (some) sour-haters should be able to appreciate this one. It tastes of tart raspberry juiciness at first, proceeding to more of a sweet, jammy, confiture-like note further into the sip. Lactic acidity is a continuous presence, but a well-moderated one; instead it's the berries that are in the driver's seat, with little more than a peep heard from the bready wheat malt backbone. Finishes with more sweet jam, tart berry and just a touch of lactic sharpness; the aftertaste leans dry. Light-medium in body, with moderately low carbonation levels that gently tickle the surface of the palate; feels smooth and relatively soft, with good drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.90, a worthy B+. After Hours Raspberry Sour is easily the best PEI Brewing product I've sampled to date. Full disclosure - fruit beers are not generally my thing, but raspberry beers are the notable exception to that rule of thumb, so there is at least a little bit of "personal preference" bias at play here. This one is worth trying, assuming that you don't despise raspberry brews with a fiery passion. I'd take this over their Blueberry Ale ten times out of ten.

473ml can - I could use something refreshing right now, here's hoping...
This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium reddish salmon colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy pink head, which leaves a few instances of remote islet lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.
It smells of fresh-picked raspberries, a further cherry-like dark fruitiness, gritty and grainy cereal malt, mild lactose, and some very, very tame earthy, musty, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, lightly spoiled milk, some muddled red berry fruity notes, and more well-understated leafy, musty, and herbal hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly mundane in its bored-seeming frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really a cause for concern at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the frooty essences exhibiting the most lingering swagger.
Overall - this is a pleasant enough rendition of a fruit-dosed kettle sour, with the sour/tart character kept to a minimum, essentially. Crisp, flavourful, and it goes pretty well with some of the left over Bridge Mix from Christmas Day.
