Home (Chicago, Illinois) 5/25/26. Can Notes: Purchased as part of the latest Hero Variety pack for $22.17 with tax refrigerated, where it remained at home until opening this morning. 12 oz canned 4/15/26 @ 7:56:28 AM. Citra-Hero IPA, 7.0% ABV, Juicy India Pale Ale. A whipcrack of juicy citrus notes. Juicy surge of tropical hops. Revolution Beer LLC, 3340 N. Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
Appearance: Near full initial pour into a shaker pint glass yields a a creamy bright white generous head leaving both fine thin spotty lacing over the crystal clear yellow straw base. Mild sustained carbonation after the pour. Sharp. 4.5
Aroma: Top off pour yield citrus backed by grapefruit. Mild to medium strength, a peg higher in enjoyment. 3.75
Taste: Stronger flavor, citrus with a larger lead and very focused, pine and grapefruit back well. Light in terms of Midwest application caramel malt, but the right dose for my enjoyment .and 4.5
Mouthfeel: Balance to leans sweet, drinks light and easy even well in for the 7% ABV. Faint gentle sustained carbonation, lightly dry, leans sweet but enough bitterness to retain proper balance expectations. Clean citrus pine finish. 4.5
Overall: This is a solid IPA. Looks and tastes great, nice restrained malt for a Midwest brewed IPA. One of Revolutions best IPA efforts, glad I finally had a chance to enjoy! 4.5

Had from Issue 9 of League of Heroes sampler pack. poured into pub glass from can.
L: Dark gold with a nice white head.
S: Grapefruit, sharp pine, lemon candy.
T: A very nice blend of earthy and sweet fruity/citrus flavors.
F: At 7.5% this is very drinkable and isn't too dry. Medium body.
O: One of the best IPA's I have had and has the perfect not too bitter hop profile for me.
