Bottled 4/16/15; drank 6/33/15 @ the Yarchives.
Ruby red appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; strong lace.
Banana & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Banana & orange citrus flavors up front; caramel & dry grapefruit on the finish. Enjoyable.

22oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Red with a lingering one-finger head
S: Sweet, malt, toffee, rye spice
T: Matches the nose. Too sweet
M: Full-bodied, sugary
O: I've enjoyed Revolution's beers and have heard nothing but good things about Wicked Weed. This, however, fails to showcase the rye as the overly sweet malts are overwhelming

Wicked Fist is a brightly polished copper brew. The head rises easily and settles at a fat crown of ecru foam. It's tight and silky, leaving behind peaks & valleys of lace with each consecutive sip. Carbonation seems to crawl up the sides of the glass, looks like the body has some viscosity.
I'm pretty sure this beer is a few months out. A few as in 6 or so. With that said, it's still smelling very appetizing. The rye is immediately noticeable over a sweet caramel base. It's a little doughy but the rich caramel and spicy rye dominate. I don't have any idea how hoppy this beer was fresh but it has taken on a big floral nose that's complimentary to the spice and sweet. A soft tea-like quality arises as well, from the age I'm sure. I like where this beer is at right now.
The flavor starts of with big caramel that's surprisingly not near as sweet as I was expecting. The largely floral hoppiness seems to cut some of the sweetness as does the soft spiciness of the rye. Crystal malt hits from the middle to the swallow while pine joins the fray, adding some bitterness, also on the swallow.
The body has enough heft to sit between moderate and heavy in weight. Alcohol fumes rise through the sinuses but can't be tasted while a rising bitterness grows with each drink before settling at a touch above moderate. The finish is desert dry, helping accentuate that bitterness. Easy to put away for a 9%er.
This is good beer. It's basically like a red barleywine with an easier drinking body and zero signs of alcohol. It could get you in trouble if you weren't careful. It's rich and spicy but never viscous or cloying. The hop profile is very floral and it works well to compliment the rye. I'd drink this beer again for sure.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep caramel brown, medium head, some cling. Smell is lots of citrusy hops when you pop the lid, less so on the pour. Rye, caramel, malts. Taste is malt forward, much more than the nose was. Solid rye, more caramel than the nose, some hops- mostly on the back end. A little sweet. Smooth, creamy, has a good feel to it.
This is a good, well crafted beer. Lots of rye, which I'm a big fan of, but a lot less hoppy than I was expecting, considering Revolution's portfolio. Nothing really stands out here, but certainly worth a try.
