A month-long lagering period keeps our dry, light-bodied Kolsch smooth and lightly fruity. Crisp, cracker-like malt character finishes with a dry, effervescent snap.

12 ounce can into a stange glass. Canned 5/21/20, had 7/28/20.
Pours a clear, bright, pale golden color, with a mountain of creamy foam with great retention and some foamy lacing. A little bit of active carbonation. Aromas of sweet malt, light floral and grassy hops, some bread, light yeast, crackers as it warms. The flavor shows more of the floral hops- which linger into the aftertaste, some grassy hops, malt- less sweet than the nose, crackers, a light bitterness. Smooth, refreshing, fairly dry and crisp, a very good light body, well carbonated.
Not a style I have often, but this is as good as any I’ve had before. An excellent, well executed example of the style. Good balance between the hops and malt, and liked the sweeter malt. Well worth a purchase.

12oz can, dated 05.21.2020, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very bright golden color, nice clarity with some bubbles rising to the top of the glass and a thin foamy white head with decent retention and lacing. The aroma is nice, crisp grassy hop, lightly floral with a bit of citrus peel and a really soft pillowy breadiness. The flavors are good, nice cereal grains, mineral water, citrusy and floral hops with a green earthy bite. The mouthfeel is good, coating with a lively light body that finishes easily with just a touch of dryness.
Verdict: A nice Kölsch from Revolution. Crisp, easy going and very refreshing. Not the most dynamic beer but it gets the job done on a warm July day.

poured from a 12oz can into a half pint glass. pours clear gold with fuzzy white head, most of which disappears quickly. smell is crisp, clean and yeasty. get a little bit of bread and a touch of lemony citrus. taste is also bread and lemons with a crisp, carbonated finish. it’s fairly light and appropriately carbonated. this is a refreshing spring / summer beer that goes down smooth and easy.
