This sweet component Barleywine was aged for 12 months in a wondrously wet Great Lakes Distilling Single Malt Whiskey barrel. Silky smooth with moderate American oak tannin and alcohol presence, this expression of Straight Jacket is loaded with the classic strawberry Twizzler nose that inspired Strawberry Jacket.

Had this on draft @ Revolution's taproom on 11/15/19.
The description didn't make me very excited, but I was BLOWN AWAY by this beer. Notes of burnt caramel, oak, cherry & walnut; I've never had a beer like it. I made sure to have a second pour!
