Fourth anniversary beer, a Belgian quadrupel with chamomile, aged in Woodford Reserve barrels for 2.5 years. Dark, sweet and fruity, with loads of barrel character.
Single barrel matured for 30 months in a Woodford Reserve barrel, this strong, dark time capsule alludes to a V.S.O. series still years away from conception in late 2013.

Snifter on draft at a barrel-aged beer event at Revolution. My understanding is that this was first kegged in 2016. Little evidence of oxidation, and this has lost much of its Belgian character; instead, the chamomile has emerged as the star. Delicate floral notes layered over what now comes across as more of a strong ale.
