This one-of-a-kind cuvée selected by Cellarman Andy Lautner is 70% WhistlePig Boss Hog Armagnac barrel-aged Straight Jacket and 30% Jack Daniel's barrel-aged Deth's Tar aged for one and two years respectively before being blended and aged an additional 20 months in a single Heaven Hill bourbon barrel. Once dry and bracingly boozy, the past 3-4 years of evaporation have concentrated the malt structure yielding a smooth, sweet sipper with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and oak. Oh yeah, we put a bunch of coffee and walnuts in there too.
