Less head on the pour than typical Deth's Tar variants, modestly thick and oily like VSOD. Quite boozy on the nose when warm, light vinous tannins when fresh from the fridge. Bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, some graham cracker and plenty of oak. Very light red apple on the finish. Delectably smooth and palate-coating. One heck of a money barrel.

Crowler filled 11/18/20; drank 11/21/20 @ Hannah & Kenser's.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a small dark tan head; minimal lace.
Dark chocolate, oak, bourbon & caramel notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Oak, bourbon & caramel flavors up front; dark chocolate notes on finish, which came on strong as this warmed.
Not as good as hyped by the brewery, in my opinion, but still an excellent brew. Glad I had it.
