APPEARANCE: Clean and clear amber with huge off-white head and web of lace.
NOSE: Tropical hops, citrus, mango, peach and floral. Quite nice.
TASTE: Big grapefruit citrus hops with pine and stone fruit underneath. Tongue-lashing bitter finish. Superb!

Pours a beautiful copper color that is nearly clear, with a light tan head that grips the glass like Saran Wrap. Beautiful beer. The nose has loads of pineapple and a nice pine note as well, with a bit of citrus for kicks.
The pineapple is forward on the taste, and is delicious. The pine and citrus notes (ripe orange) work well with the pineapple, and there’s a nice caramalt flavor that really elevates this beer, IMHO.
The mouthfeel is medium and dry, fitting for a WCIPA. Revolution is one of my favorite breweries, and this beer is yet another example why.

I got a few cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a slightly hazy amber with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle white grape notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter melon rind presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

This one pours a standard dark gold with a fluffy head that dissipates quickly. Upon opening the can you can smell notes of flowers and honey with hints of pine and a touch of citrus. The taste is dominated by a sweet floral honey like taste. It's almost like a chamomile tea with honey. There's hints of citrus and pine on the finish with a very satisfying bitter end that's not over done. It goes down really easily. Overall a very good and somewhat unique ipa. I'd drink it again.

Zenith-Hero from Revolution. Purchased on 18/3/21 at Meijers, Wyoming, MI, for $ 21.33 for a mixed 12-pack of 12 oz cans ($ 0.148/oz). In reefer at store. Stored at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 26/3/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on bottom of can “FILLED 01-21-2021”. Served at 44.3 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 53.9 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Deep Gold (SRM 6), clear.
Body – Medium Amber (SRM 12), clear. When rear-lite, same with marked effervescence.
Head – Large (Maximum six cm, aggressive center pour), Dutch white, medium density with scattered rocks, average retention, diminishing to a three mm crown and a thin, rocky, complete cap. Many small islands of lacing remain on the glass above the crown.
Lacing – Good. Wide band of tiny to small bubbled torn curtain lacing. See also above.
Aroma – 3 – Virtually no aroma, just slight malt, no yeast, NO HOPS!
Flavor – 3.5 – Lightly bitter and weakly malty. No hops, no yeast. However, knowing that Sultana hops were used allows me to think I detect a hint of pineapple. No alcohol (7.5 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 4 – Medium, watery, soft but lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Nothing bad about this brew, just nothing outstanding enough to make me buy it again. At two months old, the hops are gone, MIA, Kaput. There’s nothing wrong with a malty backbone being evident in an IPA but, while this is not a malt bomb, malt should not be the predominant flavor. I am glad this is the last of the mixed 12-pack I tried, not the first.

Soild, well built, crispy, tasty IPA. The hop is sultana, which is spicy, pungent, oily and a little bitter. The overall taste is bright and slightly piney with honey and floral flavors. If you like an IPA with a bit of bitterness this is a great choice,

L: Dark amber with a heavy foam head that does not subside and that sticks along the sides of a pint glass.
S: The sharp, yet subtle grapefruit tang zings your tongue on initial contact.
T: The full, fruity hop flavored IPA with hints of lemon, pear, grapefruit surge strong, then mellow out gradually, leaving behind a lingering tart aftertaste to savor before the next sip.
This is a very well-balanced blend of hops with a strong, yet pleasant sweet-and-sour flavor that does not hit too hard and obviously as too many IPAs seem to do in the race to be the most intense flavored.
The high ABV (said to be 7.5%, and it could well be a bit higher), but is extremely well-hidden.
F: A heavy, oily, slick, hop and citrus that lingers and lingers, so you can enjoy the aftertaste a good long time.
O: This is a full-flavored, citrus, fruity and hoppy IPA that hits the ideal spot.
