This single Wild Turkey barrel of young, sweet component Deth’s Tar is infused with 25lbs of toasted coconut. Punchy American oak and bittersweet chocolate notes lay beneath a torrent of tropical bliss which becomes ever more pronounced as it warms.

2021 vintage; I had this on draft 4/15/23 @ Revolution's Taproom.
Black appearance. Nice dark tan head; strong lace.
Bourbon heat, mild coconut & wood notes in the nose...pretty mild, really.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Booze heat is strongest on the palate, with oak & mild coconut following.
In the illustrious world of Deep Wood, this is pretty low on the list.

Pitch black with a thin, velvety mocha colored head. Aroma has notes of oak, roasted malts, chocolate and brown sugar. Not getting a coconut on the nose. Taste is excellent - roasted malt, cocoa, bourbon and lovely roasted fresh coconut. Hands down the best tasting use of coconut I’ve ever had. Feel is thick, creamy, smooth and rich. Overall an excellent variation on Deth’s Tar.
