The bright sweetness of real lemons converges with pure cane sugar for a refreshingly tart finish.

Revolution Freedom Lemonade - Revolution Taproom (Chicago, Illinois)
7/21/22 Revolution Taproom Brewery notes: $7, 4.5% ABV 16 oz nonic glass draft pour.
Appearance: Clear blonde base, light carbonation, generous head creamy bright white head lingered a bit before leaving a cover over the base. 4.25
Aroma: Lemon, lemonade, country time lemonade. Very sweet. 3.75
Taste: Taste just like a lemon lime pop from the 1970s. The name escapes me but it had a lemon and lime picture on the bottle. Anyhow, this is a lemonade session sour, and if a lemonade session sour patch s supposed to taste and feel like a NA lemon lime soda, this is it. 3.25
Mouthfeel: Sugar, oh honey honey. Pop feel including the carbonation. Sweet sans tart or sour I can gather on my palate. If someone said this was NA I wouldn’t argue against it. Lemongrass aftertaste. 3.5
Overall: I rarely order these types of sours. It’s too sweet for my preferences. Glad I tried, and I will finish though I’m taking my sweet time with it. 3.5 WBAYDN 3561 7/21/22

Clear, yellow color. Medium-sized, white head. Lemon is dominant in the malty aroma. Taste follows. Moderately sweet, slightly tart. Exactly what I expected.

A delicious tart and lemony summer crusher. Definitely more tart then overtly sour but easily one of my favorite shandy/ raddler styles I've tried. It's predominantly tart and sweet lemony almost pastery on the nose, pallet, and finish.

From Brewvana, filled February 22nd 2023. Interesting.
It pours a clear pale gold with a good head of foam, some good lacing, lots of bubble activity.
The smell is lemon with definite sweet notes. Smells more tart than sour.
The taste is lemon, tart approaching sour but there's a sweetness there preventing that. There's more going on...other fruits, citrus, something else?
Light bodied, lively carbonation, like I said, interesting.

Don't usually drink sours, but took a chance today on Revolution Freedom Lemonade. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal head. Lemon dominates the aroma in a good way. Taste follows through. It's called Lemonade and tastes pretty much like Lemonade, but the beer base does sneak through. It's lemony and slightly tart, but not overly. Velvety mouthfeel. This is a sour I could enjoy again.

Pours out of the can a slightly opaque orange-gold with a finger of head that dissipates quickly. Smells like lemon of course. Tastes like lemon, tart and sweet with some interesting apple finish. Really a nice sour.

12oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'FILLED MAR/22/2022'.
Opaque, pale gold colored body. Brief head but not long lasting. No lacing.
Aroma of sugar sweetened lemon.
Taste is sweet/tart lemonade with cracker malt underneath. Taste profile is short and sweet.
Medium mouth feel. Not a tooth scraper but the sweetness comes close to producing a tooth ache. Slightly fizzy in the mouth.
Easy to quaff session tart ale that expresses as lemonade (not artificial).
