Fuck it, let’s go for one more. I wanna end things off light after having a Barleywine and a Stout that were both very heavy. I enjoyed the Strawberry Lemonade variant earlier so I’m guessing this one will be even better. Let’s dive in
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a finger of white head that quickly fades to ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose really just reminds me of the Outshine lime fruit bars I used to have as a kid, and honestly it’s really nice. I’m picking up on aromas of lime juice, lemon zest, bready malt, candied lime, and very light grassy hops
Yup, it pretty much just tastes like a melted version of those lime bars with a bit of a malt backbone. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lime juice, lime zest, lemon juice, crackery malt, light grassy hops, and white grape. The swallow brings notes of lime juice, lime zest, lemon zest, and bready malt
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a sharp and tart beer. Finishes mostly dry with a nice tartness
It may be basic and straightforward, but it’s damn good, and a great way to end off my Chicago/Revolution beer journey
