A blend of barleywines from an Elijah Craig 18 Yr bourbon barrel, and a sweet component oatmeal stout from a Blanton's bourbon barrel were blended and aged together in an Elijah Craig 8 Yr bourbon barrel before being finished in a Brazilian Amburana cask. Notes of cinnamon and baking spice evolve as the beer warms into coconut and finally French toast and maple syrup. A zero-adjunct pastry stout.

Small tan head; frothy lace.
Coconut, wood, red berry & butterscotch notes in the nose.
Thick mouthfeel.
Coconut, wood, butterscotch, red berry & booze heat flavors; this is A LOT but it's delicious.
