Had at the Deep Wood release of 11/10/23. Delicious like the original and the rum barrels work great with it. But it’s mighty sweet, as were the original and other variants.

Rich, sweet, and decadent. Lots of barrel here with some of that red wine from lumberstruck coming through. Boozy and sticky. Delicious one of variant from Rev.

Crowler filled 11/15/23; drank 11/17/23 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice, noisy tan head which quickly dissipated; no lacing remained.
Wood, marshmallow, waffle cone, red wine & mild milk chocolate notes in the nose. Oh my!
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Red wine, milk chocolate, waffle cone & wood flavors. Mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Insanely drinkable, complex & utterly fantastic. A triumph of the brewer & blender's alchemy.
