Had at the taproom for the Deep Wood release of 1/26/24. It’s interesting when it warms. And it is dry. Would not be a good choice for canning, in my opinion.

I had this on draft 1/26/24 @ Revolution's Taproom.
Black/brown appearance.
Small khaki head; decent lacing remained.
Wood, black licorice & booze heat notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Candle wax & mild booze heat flavors up front; black licorice notes on the finish.
This is like a Russian Imperial Stout that has decided to choose violence; I didn't care for it. I'm sure it serves a purpose in the final On & On Part 3 mix, but it's a tough swath to mow on it's own.
