Revolution Taproom (Chicago, Illinois) - 5/2/26 Revolution Taproom Brewery notes: Belgian-Style Farmhouse Ale with Peaches, 5.5% ABV, comped 12 oz tulip glass draft pour.
Appearance: Peach golden unfiltered base, soapy egg white head, generous soapy lacing and cover across the base and around the rim. 3.75
Aroma: Peach, banana and clove work well together, medium plus strength. Faint funk and wool damp blanket. Nice 3.75
Taste: Flavor consistent with the aroma, stronger, with a more funky delivery. Clove banana comes through well, peach adds a nice complement. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Light sustained prickly carbonation, drinks nice and easy, consistent with the 5.5% ABV. Lightly dry, balanced, clove and peaches the star of the show from start to finish. 4.25
Overall: This is a solid fruited farmhouse ale, peaches and traditional flavors blend well and the peach adds versus covers or overwhelms the base. Solid offering. 4.0 NBW 302, WBAYDN 4943 5/2/26
