I am obsessed with stouts but don't understand the market for super expensive versions that try to double as pie. This is not a dessert stout. It claims to have some chocolate and coffee in it, but it's not sweet at all; I think the coffee comment is mostly just to remind its audience that it's good to have in the morning, as well. Sasquatch is among the lower-priced Russian Imperial stouts, and has a fair amount of carbonation, and hints of brewer's licorice (though such is not mentioned by the brewer). It's one of 6 different stouts in my fridge right now; it's a favorite with hard bread and sharp cheddar.

Recipe and brew have remarkably improved. Just had 2020 BBA version on tap at TT.
Welcome back!
Bery nice well balanced medium weight Imp Stout. Nice barrel in a medium body full flavor stout. Nice components of dark malt; dried fruit , hints of oak and vanilla. Very accessible not overly big brew despite higher abv.
