I wanted to like this stout, but it wasn't destined to be.
It pours thin and black with some minor head. The aroma is of a roasty ale that has been sitting in the bottle forever. I wonder if a fresh one of these actually evokes gingersnap. There is the slightest undertone. The finish is a mess too, funky bitter and like something is wrong.
Not recommended, but I will need a verifiable sample to drink some day. I still want to like it!
