Did you say hops? Mosaic, Mandrina, Bavaria, Simcoe, Chinook, Cascade, and various other hops bombard this beer and your palette with citrusy aromas and hints of mango. Rich or poor, this IPA will rob you of your senses after one sip.

Here is an old school, caramel and pine style IPA with plenty of medicinal and herbal notes but only moderate citrus. A little harsh in the finish but not unpalatable. My can says 7.4% abv, which less excuses the harshness than if it measured 8.4. Anyhoo, it's fine but un-special for a big IPA or medium DIPA.

Not a bad double IPA but not the best either. Definitely drinkable but not very traditional in style as this has a very heavy malt backbone which is reminiscent of an imperial red more so than an imperial IPA. If you like heavy malt flavor and feel this beer might be a good imperial IPA for you. Hop flavors are definitely present. Would drink again but not something I’d seek out when looking for a double ipa.

Very nice DIPA... perhaps a bit on the lighter side. Not a big pushy beer; but substantially bigger malt bill and feel than typical IPA. This version was 7.4%.
Very easy to drink with a good combo of hop profile ( Mosaic; Mand Bav; Simcoe; Chinook; Amarillo) and a generous biscuity malt backbone.
Smooth and soft creaminess with medium carbonation.
Nice beer, given as gift can ... Will look fwd to having again when visiting TT.
