Look: It pours dark brown with a light brown head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has chocolate in the aroma with some roast and plums.
Taste: The dark fruits, especially plums, are stronger in the flavor. There are roasted elements with chocolate.
Feel: It has a medium body with a somewhat dry finish.
Overall, an easy drinking porter.

Pours a clear dark mahogany with a quickly dissipating head.
Aroma opens with notes of cocoa powder, chocolate, coffee, and sour black malt. There are also notes of jammy dark fruit. The aromas are malt forward overall.
Smooth and soft mouthfeel accompanied by a gentle carbonation. The medium body feels a bit thin for the style. Flavors of dark toasty malts, honey, a touch of sour black malt, bright chocolate, earthy and woodsy hops that provide a gentle spice and some bitterness. There are muted notes of dark fruit along with a cherry finish, neither sweet nor roasty.
Appropriate for the style, except for the thin body. Nevertheless, the flavors didn’t really do it for me.

Small sample at Salisbury MD Good Beer Festival (at PembertonPArk, so I'm guessing this was a one-off for the festival). Pours an inky black with a substantial tan head. Initial impression is coffee, chocolate, and maybe a hint of dark fruits. Really enjoyable flavors. Mouthfeel is thinner than I'd have liked, but then it IS a porter and perhaps I'm calibrated for stouts. Finish is smooth and sweet. I'd revisit in a heartbeat. In fact, the brewery was on the way home so I stopped and got a growler fill.
