Poured from the can into a tall wheat ale style glass.
Fairly big powerful forming head, with expected minimal retention, but manage a good white three finger soapy cap before dissolveing to a good simple pencil thin collar. Nice looking body, hints of brass shine, a deep yellow with a mix of haze but even lighter clarity and shine towards the edges. Some nice ample and playful carbonation rounds things out.
Interesting aroma. Quite a good mix of flavors, but strangely there's a candy sweetness of sour like candy that tends to dominate. Big passion fruit candy like flavors, hints of sugar and a good salty brine acidity as well. Almost has a hint of bubblegum and hubba bubba like fruit flavors all over.
Palate luckily comes without the sensing sweetness, but some other qualities just don't seem to be as well defined. Even wet for a gose, but also very flat in mouthfeel. Mid palate seems to have a dull sense of wheat and limited fruit flavor. Mild sourness with a bit of hinting orange and maybe even some mango like flavors also. Lacks a bit of bready malt depth also.
Glad to say this doesn't come off like a sugary mess that the nose seems to hint at, but the palate seems even less expressive more so.
