This hazy song of hops and barley was written in tribute to Gabriel Zavala (1945-2021), the Mariachi Maestro! Mr. Zavala dedicated himself to music and sharing his craft with the young people in his community through playing and teaching. Cashmere, Mosaic, Motueka, and Sabro hops blast aroma like a harmonizing horn combo as barley and flaked oats create a bass line of body like a golden guitarrón. Pineapple, orange, and a hint of coconut get your tongue dancing through this 6.2% composition. May the melody of Mr. Zavala’s life resonate forever in the hearts of the people he touched. ¡Salud!

Cloudy yellowish stuff with adequate foam in the Duvel tulip. Quite carbonated and slushy on the tongue. Aroma of straw with a touch of coconut. Tastes of raw grain, orange peel, and grape seeds, with just a hint of lemon peel in the finish.
Overall this is less unpleasant than many hazy brews. While it's quite sharp and murky, the acidity is not a deal-killer. Some back of the throat scratch and off-putting aftertaste, though. From the 16 oz can purchased at the big box wine store in the southerly regions.
