Looks like a golden yellow, nothing special about the taste -- kind of bland. No aftertaste

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: The aromas in this beer are difficult to pinpoint, but the best analogy I can draw is that it smells like flat tonic water.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has some weird notes of chemical-like flavors (I'm assuming this is a result of eliminating the purine) but there are some hints of sweetness as only 50% of the sugars were cut from this beer compared to a normal Happonshu. The chemical-like flavors seem to subside a little when the beer starts to warm up.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With 99% of purines cut from this beer, it doesn't seem to be as tasty compared to other beers in the style and seems to have some "off" flavors that you aren't normally accustomed to—perhaps similar to what you compare a gluten-free beer to a normal beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
