From bottle, at a radio astronomical observatory in Nobeyama, Nagano. Fitting surroundings for a beer with this name! Extra points for nice label design.
Short-lived head, nice clear pour. Color is pale-gold, SRM 5 perhaps. Nose is not overly aroma-hoppy, is citrusy and 'raw' grassy and fruity, but not sweet. Taste is surprisingly dry. Only hints of malt, and some rice. Kirin Ichiban with extra hops perhaps. Mouthfeel watery, with a too short-lived and mild bitterness from lagery hops. Overall lacking. Closer to a latin light lager with a bunch of evanescent aroma hops. Overly tame as a "session IPA" and in want of a tad bit more proteins and some candi or complex sugars.

It's nice to see an IPA making its way into convenience stores, but it's far too watery and carbonated to win many people over.
