This is one of those supprise releases by Kirin that just blows your mind.
Appearance - A nice golden color with a nice frothy head to top it off. It also has nice lacing.
Smell - Very nice. It has a good hop and malt presence.
Taste - Wow! What a surprise! From the first to last sip is was full of flavor and never got old. Nice bitterness with a rich full body malt.
Mouthfeel - Mmmmm.. creamy. It's very rich. It's appropriate to roll it around in the mouth a bit to get the full experience.
Drinkability - Well, it's such a nice beer that no one would really want to just chug it. Though it would be easy to do!
One of the best Kirin beers to date. If they take this off the market, I'll write hate mail. Best served not so cold.

Smell: Rich malt, good hop presence. Nice balance.
Taste: Well balanced with full malt flavor. Nice hop presence, very solid. Light hint of citrus.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body. Very well crafted.
Drinkablity: Very tasty. Bolder than normal Kirin. Very drinkable. I would like to see this old recipe remain on the market. The throwback can was cool too.
