The Premium Muroka

I bought this bottle in a department store in Utsunomiya. This appears to be a lager beer, the bottle states "deep and rich taste from non-filtered process". Brewed 5/28/2009, recommended as good until 8/25/2009. The beer is dark copper colored, clear with a little haze, and a thin durable film of foam on top. The aroma is a little odd, this smells a tad sour or lactose. More malt than hop but mainly a sour "off" aroma that's a little objectionable. The flavor is adequately good, even tasty despite the smell. Smooth and sweet malty flavor, very 1-dimensional but refreshing for what it is. Medium body, easy to drink except the aroma.
