This one was muled back from Japan for me in August 2024 and was drunk in December of that year. I drunk this in company so the notes are perfunctory at best.
L: Bright, golden yellow. Big bubbled, bright white, frothy head. Lots of bubbles.
S: Sweet, biscuity malt and minerals.
T: Sweet, watery malt with an earthy, acrid bitterness. Slightly sour, dry finish.
M: Smooth and full with minimal carbonation.
I: This is meant to be a more premium offering from Kirin, but all said, it was pretty bland and watery.
Cheers!

Again, quite a good one from Kirin - 2024 must have been a good year in Japan for beers. Made with “rare hops from the Tohoku region” it came out around the same time as the Soyokaze Ale, both are named after the gentle spring breeze. Okay, might not be that elevated but much better than your average Asahi Super Dry.
