Served in a half-pint glass at Ale Arsenal.
Hazy gold with light head. It smells sweet and fruity. So did the original Hop Song, though. Quite tropical. Big on the pineapple.
My my my, this is delicious. Pleasantly piney-bitter on the back of the mouth, but dripping juicy fruits up front. The taste is long and well-developed, ranging from astringently dry to sweet and wet. Protean and powerful.
Full and tasty. A damn solid beer, that I think I prefer to the original. Would have another (few). Recommended!
