Port wine barrel aged version, which was released on tap in 2015. Almost certainly all the 2015 ratings are for that version.

Poured from tap into a tulip glass at the Indeed tap room over the winter season.
Appearance: Pours a deep opaque ruby color with a nice one finger tan foamy head. Leaves nice sticky lacing as it fades. Looks great in the tulip glass.
Smell: A great mix of funky yeast, sweet cherries and a whiff of alcohol. Smells very much like a good Belgian ale.
Taste: Wow. Delicious flavors of a good Belgian dark strong ale with the added bonus of cherries to add a slight bittersweet note. The alcohol was definitely present, but not at all overwhelming. I LOVED the flavors of this one!
Mouth Feel: Slick and medium bodied with a good low carbonation. Finished slick and slightly tart on the tongue.
Overall: I love good Belgian stron ales, and this was no exception to that rule. A really well done Belgian style that wasn't overly sweet or fruity like a lambic, but that had all the right flavors in all the right places. Please bring this one back next winter, Indeed!
