Another Minneapolis brewery that really seems to be hitting their stride in making good beer. Their beers made are diverse from barrel aged sours to IPAs to lagers to barrel aged imperial stouts, all of which I have enjoyed. Their taproom is a very nice size with a large area for private events. They frequently have food trucks. Service when ordering a beer can be slow and their growler availability is quite limited but they really do have solid beer and have a great environment.

Varied beer selection including nitro and cask offerings. The bartenders were happy to give samples and even brought one without my asking (one of the other patrons had been enjoying and loudly recommending a particular beer lol). I was very happy to have Rum King on tap, one of my top 3 wants when coming to Minneapolis.

Let it Roll, their IPA was very good. The Mexican Lager went down too smoothly. The tap room was crowded but not very so. Had dinner from the food truck, a very healthy rice bowl with Bison and some delectable side ingredients.

A very nice taproom located in what appears to be an old factory building. An easy trip from downtown MPLS in an area with many breweries in walking distance.

Lots of tables and bar space and enough space to hold a good size crowd. There were definitely a lot of younger people in the place, it seems like a popular hang out.

The beer is above average and they had a good variety of styles. They sold growlers and had at least one bottled beer for sale from the brewery. They had a ton of swag for sale.

The guy serving my beer was attentive, easy going, and quick to offer a sample or suggestion. He seemed very knowledgeable about their products. A food truck selling pizza was located outside.

these guys are awesome, and their brewery matches their quality. old building revamped to be a perfect brewery, old brick throughout, a rustic midwestern feel, and a lot of space. big main bar in front with patio, and a smaller bar in the back to handle excess demand. they were kind enough to give us a special tour, and all the people involved there were first rate. quite substantial production capacity, its clear the locals are loyal to these guys, as their handles were all over the cities, and the hype is real. maybe fifteen beers on in total, with some experimental stuff happening too. the blueberry mosaic pale ale was excellent, as was the wooden soul series from top to bottom. they have a lot of innovative recipes, and i think they are all so well executed. i also found even their styles that tend to be sweeter on the dried side, which i always prefer. the rum stout is insane, and all of the people i met here were just so happy to have us. we dont have breweries like this in denver, it has a really cool vibe all of its own. they also apparently have an offsite barrel program that is starting to ramp up. looking forward to seeing what comes out of there, but this is not to be missed if you visit the twin cities. one of my favorite breweries there so far!

Very good brewery but perhaps not deserving of its lofty reputation (winner of the City Pages' award for best local brewery). Good variety of styles, with occasional cask conditioned and nitro choices.

Had the chance to visit the Indeed tap house this weekend with my wife, my sister, and her husband. This place is tucked away pretty well off of a residential area in a mostly-abandoned industrial zone. We thought we had missed it until we turned a corner and saw all the cars and people.

V: This place has a great atmosphere. There's a large patio area that was completely full when we pulled up. A pretty big cross-section of people, from wealthy yuppie-types to cyclists to college students to families. The tap room itself isn't overly big, but there are quite a few large tables and stool seating along the windows. They have an indoor shuffleboard and a bunch of board games you can take and hang out with for a while. The bar is very long, and there were quite a few employees on hand to take orders. Nice signage throughout, and a clear attention to detail. If I lived in the area, I would definitely want to stop by regularly to kill a few hours.

Q: Everyone in our party ordered something different, and with the exception of my brother-in-law (who's notoriously difficult to please), everyone loved their beers. My wife especially loved their L.S.D. brew, which has some fantastic lavender and honey notes from the tap. My Let It Ride IPA was one of the best Midwest IPAs I've ever had.

S: The place was absolutely bumping, but our bartenders were wonderfully courteous and accommodating. Staff were regularly coming around to pick up empties, and there was the impression that everyone was enjoying what they were doing.

S: I would have liked to have seen a few more beers on tap, but as it was, we could choose from about ten different brews--about five year-round beers and another five that were seasonals. I didn't feel like my options were limited really, and we wound up having to leave before I got to try all the ones I wanted.

We wound up going to Surly later in the day, but I think I might have enjoyed myself at Indeed even more. There's a coziness and intimacy to this place that's really endearing, and I'm more than impressed with the service and product they had to share. Be sure to check this place out if you get to Minneapolis.

Tucked away in northeast Minneapolis. Very spacious and nice atmosphere. Only drawback, very noisy when at normal capacity. Nice outdoor patio with a food truck.

Stopped in for a Rum King during Darkness Eve. It was busy, but still had great service and it seemed a great venue to have a beer and visit with friends, or strangers, as was my case.

This is a wonderful tap room for a decent craft brewery. The beer is good and there is usually a decent food truck outside. In good weather there is seating outside. Its filled with craft beer lovers so you should feel right at home. This is a must go place for any Minneapolis craft beer tour.

A great taproom to go sample some of Indeed's many excellent beers. They typically have a variety of taps on that go beyond what you can find on the shelf. In addition, they have a beautiful taproom with ample seating. Definitely one of the best taproom environments in the Minneapolis area. They also usually have a food truck option there so you can score some excellent food while sipping your beer.

I have been to Indeed many times and I'm always treated like a guest in their home. Fantastic selection of brews and their infusions are always unique. Have to get Day Tripper if it's your first time.

Atmosphere: Only complaint would be that it was a little loud.

Quality: Good line-up of their regular beers on tap plus some great casks.

Service: Knowledgable bar staff that was happy to answer questions about the somewhat confusing tap menu above the bar. Always quick to notice when you need a refill.

Selection: As far as the number of beers available it was a short list. Perhaps due to the summer season there were no IPAs on tap. Also no flights available.

Food: They had chips available for purchase at the bar and a good food truck outside the whole time.

Value: The prices for were where they should be for a brewery's own tap room.

The Indeed tap room in Northeast Minneapolis may be one of the best in town. Lots of seating indoors and out (weather permitting). They make great beers and have new ones rotating all of the time in the tap room. They have different food trucks on site every day/night they are open and most are really good (and a couple are not). We have had many gatherings of friends here from in the neighborhood, or from out of town. It's always a winner! The only negative here is parking can be a bit tough to find (they have a really small lot and the rest is street parking), but it's usually not that bad on most days/nights.

I was here for happy hour. Prices were good and the taproom is pretty cool but the location isn't that great. I was really hoping for a unique selection of beers not offered at local restaurants but I was disappointed. I would describe their beers as "safe" and "run of the mill." Definitely a cool place to check out but I would wait for happy hour to get your money's worth.

This is my favorite of the new tap rooms in Mineapolis, and smokes the competition in the North East area.

Atmosphere- Great space, old warehouse with high ceilings, the bar is huge, spanning almost the entirety of the long side wall, huge windows on the oppose side look out onto the patio and the rail line, where trains pass by every so often. Very relaxed, good size, great for a pair or group.

Service- Just bar tenders, wide open bar early, but it gets packed by nightfall. Still it isnt at all hard to get a beer.

Selection- All the Indeed regulars, rotating special, seasonal, and their specialties in bottle. Usually a cask beer too.

Food- They always have a different food truck, but I decided not to rate since it isnt their production

$$- Its 50 cents extra to get the 20 oz over the pint. Thats not even fair. To me. Tomorrow.

Beautiful restored building in a quiet neighborhood (although overlooking train tracks) in NE Minneapolis. Ample seating inside and out.

Great range of beers on tap (7), including 2 cask and 1 infusion when we were there.

No table service (and no food - although a food truck food was available) but service at the bar was efficient.

Overall, a great feel for a taproom.

Atmosphere: a big, tall-ceiling, beautiful tap room in a warehouse type setting. Nice outdoor seating area, but they allow smoking, so i avoided it (and was irritated by the windows all being wide open to the smoking area.) Long bar, plenty of seating, lots of tables. Food truck parked right outside of the patio area. Wide open seating inside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Not especially convenient to public transit, and the parking lot was packed. Fortunately I rode a bike sharing bike to a location a few blocks away.

Quality: okay. The cask APA (Day Tripper) was very tasty, but spendy (a $1 upcharge on all cask beer.) The Midnight Ryder, an American Black Ale, was just so-so.

Selection: not overwhelming for a custom-built facility and taproom. About five CO2 options, including a couple seasonals, and two cask (IPA, and their summer seasonal.)

Service: two bartenders, both friendly enough, and efficient, mine was friendlier than the other. One of them poured a cask like she was Tiger Woods doing a fist pump after a birdie -- I made a point to avoid her when I went up to order my second beer (though she seemed to be pouring fair measures on the CO2.)

Prices: $3.75 for a 10 ounce, $5 for a 16oz pint, $5.50 for a 20oz imperial pint. (So the imperial is definitely the best buy.) $1 uptick for the cask, which is slightly annoying. I know, it's more expensive and more intensive a process, but $1 more than covers that.

A - beautiful new building. There is great artwork, a cool bar, old school woodwork all over, and an array of Indeed cans decorating the back of the bar. It's very, very nice.

Quality - Beers are top quality. They are served correctly etc.

Service - prompt and helpful. We were able to sample whatever we wanted and to order in a couple different convenient sizes of our choosing.

Selection - less than a craft bar, but really a good, diverse selection for a taproom. IPA, Black IPA, winter Ale, Cask Aged ale on vanilla and cacao nibs, A sessionable coffee ale.. Just a great variety.

Food- The food truck didn't arrive while we were there, but it sounds like a rotating schedule of different trucks for all those who are planning a trip. I'd check out Indeed's twitter for an update.

Value - good prices on great beer.

Went in looking for their Black IPA. Ordered and recieved. Beer was great service was ok, a bit busy. Great place, shuffle board and fooseball. No food but a food truck out side to meet the cravings.
I enjoyed everything they had to offer. Unique location.
