Poured from a nitro tap into a clear pint glass at the Indeed tap room.
Appearance: Pours a nice deep brown, almost black, cloudy color with a great creamy nitro foam head. Looks like a Guinness nitro pour.
Aroma: Malty and mellow with just a hint of hops.
Taste: Smooth and nutty with a great roasted malt flavor. Very easy drinking and smooth. The nitro pour works great for this beer as the carbonation is low, and really lets the malty smoothness shine through.
Mouthfeel: Creamy and medium bodied with very low carbonation. Fnishes slick and smooth on the tongue.
Overall: Really enjoyable beer, and the nitro works great for this one. I easily downed three in a row during this session in the tap room. Great stuff.
