This beer pours fairly clear darker golden color. The head was white, 1 finger. The nose has a pleasing sour fruit aroma to it. The taste is mellow, for a second, then the sourness hits, and fairly hard, but not in a harsh way. It is moderate feeling. Not bad at all.

fashioned as somewhat of a hoppy berliner or the like, a quick soured wheat beer, dry hopped like mad. its real good, better than most in all aspects, but i do not think its the best of indeed by any means hazy and a little short on the bubbles and head. not flat but not something i would call lively either. some haze, pale straw colored, simple and rustic looking. aroma and flavor of juicy citrus driven hops and a fair degree of bitterness as well. lemon and tart passion fruit come to mind in the smell, more of a sweet and tart green apple flavor, all vegetal hops, butter and dry, wheaty, light but boldly flavored, clean for what it is, but lingering with some pucker, sparkling acidity is right in line, and more yeast than just something flavorless on the ale side after the souring process, even pushing belgian. easy drinking for how hoppy it is, but sure to satisfy an ipa drinker who doesnt mind a little sour too. this is a style that is really coming on this year, and this is a nice example of it. on tap at the happy gnome in minnesota, a killer bar with a mean draft list. not the best of indeed but a good take on the latest craze.

White head. Golden orange color.
Sour with lemon acidity. A light tartness. Grassy with some grapefruit citrus. Tastes a bit like squirt. Green apples.
Lighter bodied. Easy to drink. Enjoyable, but nothing crazy.

On tap at brewery
A- Golden, maybe a little paler than that. Thin white head retains a slick. Touch hazy.
S- mild, tart aroma. A little musty, a little sour peach, hops in distant background.
T- more tart on tongue. Tart peach and pear flavor, with some citrus hops balancing more than nose indicated.
M- light body, a touch more carbonation than I'd like leaves bigger sips feeling kinda foamy. Tart finish.
O- definitely less hoppy than billed as, but as a pretty good wild ale, it does well enough.
