Tart cherries mingle with wild yeasts and bacteria present in our Wood-Aged Red Ale. As they age together, all the little bits that once made up a cherry take on a new life, becoming a central part of our brew. Is it transfiguration? Reincarnation? On this side of the bottle, we just call it Cherry Dust.

2017 notes:
Deep, opaque, cherry-ish coloration, solid pinkish head. Very inviting.

In the nose: nice and tart. Cherry coming through in a big way. Nice and fruity.

In the mouth: Quite tart. Big puckering. Dry at the back. Consistent fruit. A fruity sour for all the sour-heads. Yum. Just, yeah, delicious. Light-ish body, long, sour finish. Fruit is in full command of the flavor. This is just about perfection. As it is, it's deeply delicious. Quite possibly the best beer Indeed has ever made.

6 oz pour at the Milwaukee location. Pours a medium reddish brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature oak, tannins, vanilla, leather funk, and sour cherry. It's complex and very drinkable thank to the relatively low abv. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, dry, and slightly astringent. Good stuff.

Overall this was by far my favorite out of 4 beers I had during my visit.

On draft at Indeed - Minneapolis. Poured a dark burgundy color with ruby highlights and a small, off-white head of foam. It left some sudsy lace. It smelled of dried dark cherries, oak and woody notes. Sweet cherry taste with a tart bite and oaky notes.

L: Slightly hazy deep pink or ruby color with a thin white foam head.

S: Floral and fruity cherry with a little vanilla and a sour funkiness.

T: Tart, sweet and a natural cherry flavor. Some vanilla and cinnamon in the mix. A really good combination of tart and sweet. Got a little wood from the barrel aging, and maybe just a hint of red wine.

F: Light-to-medium bodied with good carbonation.

O: A really tasty wild brett sour with a very natural cherry flavor. The red wine barrel and cinnamon flavors add a nice complexity. I grabbed a couple 750 ml bottles to take home with me. Highly recommended!

12oz pour

Very very cherry. And tart, really tart too. But it's schmacked me in the face with tons of great real cherries, none of that fake crap. And that is what I was looking for

Astounding cherry beer, beats the New Glarus swill by a mile. The New Glarus Cherry beer is like a poor vintage of Robotussin: this right here is an elixir of the Gods. And I'm not just saying that for effect, that is my (very slightly) exaggerated take on the two beers (for the confused, a very popular cherry beer is this one: beer/profile/590/1577/ available only near me, and extremely overrated. PM me if you want to trade for a bottle, but don't say I didn't warn ya.)

I don't even like cherries but I'd take this again and again

Had on tap. Super cloudy red body with a white head that settles into a ring. Aromas of tart cherry juice, oak, sawdust, brown sugar, vanilla, and some funk. Taste is more complex, getting more from the funk, some acidity, more from the wood barrel and tannins, with slight lacto, vanilla, and earth mixing to a nice subtle palate amongst the powerful tart cherries and some slight candied citrus. Not overly complex, but enough to keep you interested, tart and slightly acidic.

Pours hazy Ruby. Bubbly almost non-existent white head that Fades immediately.

Smells Cherry, Oaky, wine and light funk.

Taste tart cherry, Light balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, caramel and light oakiness. Finish is dry with a cherry linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

Poured from 12.68oz bottle into glass. Bottle number of '2966 of 5400'. Bottled in 2017.
Hazy, ruby colored body. Active interrupted head, fed by carbonation. Very little lacing.
Aroma of cherry, oak, and funk.
Taste of funked up cherry, oak barrel, sweet and tart.
Medium mouth feel, lots of fizzy carbonation.
Very enjoyable sweet but tart brew, with the cherry (a bit of rhubarb). Teeth get stripped and tarted.

Pours a hazy ruby with a tan-pink head, tons of bubbles and a good amount of yeast visible in the glass. Smells of sour cherry with the brett funk underneath it, quite strong but it's nice. Tastes of tart cherry, tannin, and has a really nice woody undertone. Sour, fruity, and very refreshing. Highly carbonated and fairly dry, and it left me wanting more. Awesome brew overall.
