Active clear gold body, no head. Brett, fresh mango, slight herbs, and rustic wood make up the aroma bouquet, airy and fun. Smells better than it tastes, with uncompromising wood and brett hitting the mango hard, with finish resembling their collision and very wet, it's all there, but aggressively so and surprisingly bitter as it warms. Feels bright, slightly tart, woody, sweet, wet and a little soapy.

375 mL bottle. Mostly clear golden body. Smells pungent. Strong oak, dried grass, and a hefty barnyard funk. Mango is a fruity backdrop. It's a much more potent flavor, though. Fruity right at the start. A bit of tartness, but mostly funk from the yeast. Oak again, but not as dominant. Earthy brett in the back end. Medium body. Started off really enjoying it. Wasn't what I expected at all. The mango got a little fatiguing after a while, though. Became a bit too sweet.

Bottle. White head. Golden orange color. Sour and tart. Nice mango flavor. Pretty juicy. A nice sour.

Light bodied and easy drinking sour. Nothing out of this world, but nice.

Poured from a 12.68 oz. corked bottle into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy golden orange. Slight finger of white head that settles into a thin patchy layer.

Smell: A fruity and funky aroma with a scent of mango, brett, and yeast. Upfront scent of mango. Funky scent of brett. Belgian yeast with hints of clove and pepper. Fruit hints of citrus, white grape, green apple, and pear. Barrel hints of oak and wood. Also some hints of earthy hops. A pretty nice aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a fruity and funky taste with notes of mango, brett, and yeast. Big juicy taste of mango. Funky notes of brett. Belgian yeast with notes of pepper and clove. Fruit notes of white grapes, citrus, green apple, and pear. Nice barrel notes of oak and wood. Light earthy hop bitterness. A very good taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation. Juicy, smooth, and drying.

Overall: A very good twist on a Saison. Nice mix of mango, brett, and oak notes.

Brewer's Notes: "Straw colored with a copper glow and haze ranging from high
to moderate-low, this beer greets you with pronounced
aromatics. Expect big vinous, passionfruit, plum, and tropical
notes, with a hint of powdery bubble gum and fruit flavor from
the original Dupont yeast blending seamlessly with fruity Brett
character. When this beer is fresh out of the barrels it leans
more towards tropical fruit, over-ripe fruit and funk. As it ages
outside of the barrel it becomes more vinous. On the palate it
is dry, waxy, tart, and well-balanced with fruity Brett flavors,
with moderate to high carbonation. A great experience at any
point along its path."

Poured from 375ml bottle into glass. Bottled in September 2017.
Hazy, apricot/orange colored body. Fizzy head dissipates to small islands fed by carbonation. No lacing.
Complex aroma and taste, but funky/tart throughout. Plum and tropical fruit plus funk in the aroma.
More grape/vinous in the taste, with earthy funk. Plum and mango contribute. Dry back end, with lingering mango and apricot.
Lively, carbonated mouth feel. Tart.
Very interesting interplay of aromas and tastes in this wild ale/brett saison.
