Wood barrel-aged Golden Sour Ale brewed with lime and ginger.
There's a certain share of green you can't see, only taste-a tart and sour golden ale, barrel aged with a cast of wild yeasts and bacterias and refermented with whole limes and ginger. Light, bright notes of lime zest, creamy key lime, and bitter lime pith dance across the palate atop subtle notes of warm ginger. Any way you look at it, it's any lime you like.

Effervescent golden body with a thick white ring. Have had plenty lime and ginger sour beers, but this one stands out because of the use of key lime, changes the nose to be sweeter and more potent with the ginger and oak. Has light brett and lemon in there as well. Taste however is very ginger forward, then a sharp insurgence from the lime pith, key lime juice, lemon, and salt. Almost like ginger ale with a lot of lime, but the sourness is cut into by this. Feel dries out by the finish, slightly thin, sneaky woody, but also pithy. Great air freshener, good beer

375 mL bottle. Clear golden body. Smells of lime and ginger, as advertised. Soft oak nose behind it. Tastes switch prominence. Strong ginger flavor with lime at the edges. Long oaky finish. Seems like it's going to be very sour, but just isn't that sour at all. High carbonation. Pleasant, if intense on the flavorings.

Poured from 375ml bottle into glass. Bottled July/2018.
Clear, then partly cloudy with the last of the pour, with a golden straw colored body. Initial head of white and fizzy, which disappears just about as fast as the additions from the pour. What is interesting is that the ring is built again by the rapid rising of a density of bubbles, with a thin, interrupted cap joining in. Any left behind lacing generally slopes down into the beer.
Tart, intense aroma of mostly lime, with a little lemon, and a whiff of ginger. Quite enjoyable.
Taste is greatly influenced by the high carbonation, with the flavors of lime and a light ginger swirl about. As described the lime has multiple flavors (bright zest, sweet key lime, and bitter pith).
Fizzy, highly carbonated mouth feel. Light and refreshing for the most part.
This is an amazing beer for me, with the multiple flavors of lime and the touch of ginger. This has to be classified as a sour beer but the flavors are swirled so by the carbonation that the experience is multi layered (the key lime flavor toward the middle of the taste profile is quite sublime).
