12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet caramel and toffee with citrus, pineapple and guava. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a toasted caramel backbone.

Local beer store guy suggested this when I asked if there were any late stragglers on the wet hop front…I usually try Indeed’s offerings, but haven’t had previous year’s versions, so was intrigued to see a sizer for $10, even if it does use “hop bales” and so is a “fresh hop” beer. Beer guys said “if you like Celebration,” so I was in.
Fifth can into a tulip: pours a murky dark orangey amber, 1 finger of tight white little bubbly foam, decent retention, not a ton of lacing. Good nose: toffee, a little wheat, overripe grapefruit, dark citrus, fresh resiny pine. Taste follows but the pine notes come through more brightly and fully. The citrus isn’t at all sweet. There’s some good zip and a bit of bitterness, but also an oily mouthful that coats the tongue. After too many neipas that start to blend into one, this is great…blast from the old school ipa past!
Also: it does remind me of celebration…will have to try a side-by-side with can #6.

12oz can
Murky classic "ipa-brown" that comes from a dark and murky orange, with litt head, more a sticky lace. Smells like woody oak pine tart. Taste is very malt-forward, bready, with a very bitter pine tart presence.
This isn't for the hopheads, it makes me nostalgic for classic "1st wave" IPAs like Lakebound brewing's offering over in sconnie. This is the best definition of "pine-tart"

On tap. White head with lace. Color is a slightly cloudy copper.
Nice and sticky wet hop ipa. Resiny and weedy. A bit dank. Very green, piney, and sticky. I miss these type of beers.

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Dark amber, good head.
Smell: Piney, some citrus fruit.
Taste: Old school IPA flavors, well balanced. Grapefruit and pine dominate, mild sweetness and moderate body/feel.
Overall: Nice old school "fresh hop" IPA from Indeed. Not too bitter, very balanced flavor.

A very different beer from their wet hop pale ale. This fresh hop IPA is well done. Not murky and quite dark which is very unusual for new IPA's in todays world. A dense thick head forms atop the reddish brown beer that is unfiltered. The label on the can offers suggestions of pineapple, grapefruit, and pine. I get grapefruit and pine but not pineapple. Reminds me of 10-15 years ago but done at a very high level. A big IPA with fairly high bitterness which is also different in today's world of pale ales.
