Part of the Milwaukee Drink Brew City 2021 Virtual Winter Whales. Poured from a crowler from the Milwaukee Pilot Brewery into a snifter. Pours deep black with a hint of red and a nice off white head. Smells of darker grain, not that strong, but still inviting. Tastes of dark roasted grain with nice berry notes, and slight fruity bouquet. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
