Bright, resinous, and bursting with fresh blueberry and tropical fruit aromas, our Fresh Hop Ale is brewed with fresh Mosaic hops, harvested at their peak and shipped directly from Yakima, Washington, the epicenter of hop growing in the United States. 16oz'er at 4 and 5 bar
This is a dream beer, so very hoppy, but light enough to drink on any occasion. A deep depth of hop flavor(my tongue locks onto a different flavor with each sip), it could smell better, but looks great - hazy and tons of lace
Deep hop flavor in a simple package: fruity, citrus, floral, woody, vegetal, tropical, pine, dank.... Indeed does it again
Bring this one back, please! The best version I've had yet of theirs

L-Deep golden color....hazed...pillowy white head of 1/2 an inch. Almost too frothy.
S-Fresh botanicals. Sweet rich ripe blueberries and blackberries. Tropical fruits as well. Pineapple, papaya.
T-The botanicals come through pleasantly right away. Floral, leafy....Lighter notes of dark berries and tropical fruits...Really combines into a great flavored hop forward beer without a lot of bitterness but also without a lot of sweetness like you would have in some NE IPA's
F-Medium bodied. Smooth. Hop flavored but not much for bitterness. Just a light herbal dryness on the long finish.
O-This is great. Best Fresh Hop this season I've had (2019).

Appearance: Pours with an impressive bubble show that leaves two fingers of foam perched above the clear golden liquid; excellent retention and shards of lacing
Smell: Bready, with pine, melon and blueberry tones
Taste: Very clean, with the melon and blueberry blending with the bready flavors, up front; rather piney and moderately bitter, through the middle, with a crisp finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: This one drinks like a crisp fall day on Lake Minnetonka
Thanks, Vidblain, for the opportunity

Lots of brewery notes on Indeed's website, including:
"VISUAL: Bright golden hue with a big, rocky head
AROMA: Sweet and bitter with bright, fresh, resinous
hops and notes of blueberry, citrus and melon
TASTE: Uniquely flavored with fresh, unprocessed hops.
Expect dank, resinous green hop flavor with lighter
flavors of citrus and stone fruit
MOUTHFEEL: Crisp and
pleasant, moderately
carbonated"
Poured from 16oz can into glass. Can bottle is stamped, "CANNED ON : 10/04/17 BEST BY : 01/02/18".
Somewhat hazy golden colored body, fluffy off white head settles to interrupted cap, some lacing.
Aroma is dank piney smell, very slight sweet melon.
Taste is dank, piney hops, more hay-like than sweet. Pith bitterness at the end.
Medium, crisp mouthfeel.
Truly a beer that expresses fresh, unprocessed hops. Not juicy, not sweet, just very dank, like sucking on a hop cone.

Absurdly piney. Super good beer got 4.9%... drinks way more like a dipa. Holy pine bitterness.
Edit - I drain poured this before halfway through. There was nothing palatable about it. I LOVE a dank resiney piney ipa (in fact I dislike the fruity craze) but this was like chewing on a live spruce tree. There was nothing balancing or redeeming about it.

Canned October 4th so still pretty fresh... Nice resinous pine with loads of bitter citrus rind on the finish. Bitterness lingers alongside a subtle hint of sweet candied lemon.
