Bought @ Kings Cove in Holland on a trip to see their leaves (and my brother who lives there now.)
Flying Machine is fluffy, hazy Looking APA; inviting. However, Smells are average; one hop, mild malt. But, Tastes are balanced well at only 25 IBU, well below my threshold. Medium-mouthed, it stays active and refreshing.
Even though I rarely drink APAs any more, I'm giving Ore Dock some excellent Overall Hugs for many good reasons.
First, the copy on their can is humorous and reflects the terroir of a very remote part of the U.S. that I have affinity for.
Second, they are a Mom n Pop shop that contributes to reviving a settlement that has struggled for decades now.
Third, they are serious about their craft enough to seem good in the three classic traditions and the next ale I have from them will be a Belgian.

Styled as “Hazy Pale Ale”. Pint glass at the brewery. Poured a yellowish hazy liquid with a thin white head. Smell of hops and a faint peachy-ness. Hoppy taste similar to regular pale ale, not particularly juicy. Smooth mouth feel. Not a NE-style ale, but enjoyable.
