Weird combo that needs to be tried before judged. Pours smooth but head dissipates quickly, slight lacing. Cherry chocolate smell with obvious sour. Tastes goes amazingly well together. Immediate sour followed by chocolate smoothness then bite of acid tartness. If you don't like sours you obviously won't like this. Could use more flavor, but more chocolate would be too overpowering. Interesting. Glad I had one. It not sure I'd search it out again.

This presents itself as a hybrid of a wild sour and a chocolate porter. Big aromas and flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate, burnt coffee, and tart fruit, with notes of vinegar and yeast funk. You'd think this was an odd combination, but Exile makes it work. A uniquely flavorful beer.

Aroma is big vinegar and mild notes of dark malts and chocolate. The flavor is slightly spicy vinegar, dark malts, mild salt/minerals and a sour finish.

This is a strange but delicious beer. It's dark and roasty with a nice tartness. I do get a bit of the chocolate covered cherry that the brewery says, but for the most part is just roasty and tart. It's definitely solid, it's not my favorite sour, but I'm definitely enjoying it.
