I got a can of this beer from The Beer Store in Fort Frances, Ontario whilst there for my son's hockey showcase. It poured a clear golden with fizzy white head that dissipated quickly and did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle grain and cracker notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with grain and biscuit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Aug 8 2022 and served barely chilled.
Pours a clear golden-blonde colour, capped with one finger of foamy, soapy white head that fades within two minutes. A half-inch curtain of even lace is draped across the glass in its wake, with a tight collar and sudsy cap surviving in place. Hints of honey and lemon on the nose, as well as some doughy, bready pale malts - smells clean and inviting.
It's a basic blonde ale - there are hints of orange and lemon citrus underneath, but for the most part I'm getting bready, doughy pale malts and a light grainy sweetness. Maybe a whisper of floral, earthy hops at the finish, followed by a lightly malty aftertaste that fades to off-dry. Relatively light in body, with mild carbonation that gently rolls across the tongue, lending a weak bite to this brew's smooth, soft mouthfeel; very sessionable, but not at all remarkable.
Final Grade: 3.58, an acceptable B grade. Sleeping Giant's Quittin' Time is an aptly named beer, if nothing else - it really hits the spot after a long day's work. No, it's not an exciting glass of beer, but blondes generally aren't in my experience. This is a fairly average blonde if you ask me, with no major draws (or flaws) for me to highlight - it's just a decent beer, and that's the long and short of it. I'll buy this again at some point on a whim, and I'd recommend it to fans of blonde ales in general.

Pours a beautiful gold colour, clear, with a nice sized head. Corny and grainy on the smell. The taste has hints of lemon or lime, a nice hoppiness and a dry, bubbly mouthfeel. A great beer for summertime
