Handsome clear brew, amber with a coppery tint and plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Quite bitter and moderately sweet. Resiny. From the 16 oz can purchased at LifeSource market in Salem. Dated 09/06/21.

Look: Rich, clear amber in the glass and a vigorous pour forms a strong off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving good lacing
Aroma: Toffee, caramel notes, herbal and grassy hops join in with rich breadiness throughout
Taste: Huge, rich malt up front following the nose though with a stronger presence. Light hop presence near the middle and another blast of strong bready notes with a super crisp and clean finish
Mouthfeel: Full and right smack dab in the middle – rich but not heavy, carbonation is light-medium and extremely quaffable
Overall: This is awesome stuff and a great American interpretation of a Maibock in my opinion. Hits all the right notes – big malt notes throughout, super flavorful, Noble [tasting] hops present but kept at bay to let the malt shine. One of my favorites from these folks and I frequently drink this at their pub when they brew it so was an easy decision to grab a 4-pack (16oz.) of this in addition to my curbside order since the coronavirus has all bars currently closed for sit down service.

Quite a few pints recently at the brewery tap house. Golden beer with a small off white head. Strong malty aromas..toffee, caramel..a bit of nuttiness. Taste similar to the aroma..with a touch of grassy hop in the end. Nice mouth feel to this one smooth and so easy to down a few. A clean middle of the road heller bock.

Clear golden amber with three fingers of white head that lasts 10 minutes or so leaves sheets of lace.
Smell is bready malt and herbal grassy hops.
Taste big bold malt presence with a fair herbal hop flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium body with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and bitter.
Overall a nice beer that is well worth a try.
