Look: Chestnut brown on the pour and looks black in the glass with a huge beige head that swells, holds, and slowly settles, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked brown bread, melanoidin, toffee, caramel, a hint of dark fruit, and some earthy notes
Taste: Starts off with caramel-slathered brown bread and some earthiness that quickly develop separately but also meshing together as they do. Toffee and mild dark fruit weave in and out as more layers of bread, toffee, and caramel progress toward an earthy finish
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and crisp finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. I’m a sucker for anything these folks put out and love dark lagers so this was an easy purchase decision and clearly a good one too. Tons of rich dark malt flavor and aroma along with a little earthiness all in an easy-drinking, lower ABV, lager round out this winner of a beer. Delicious and recommended

Pours a clear dark tawny brown with a wisp of carbonation in the chalice. Just a touch of malty sweetness, but more bitter grainy taste. Flavor is like a watery Schwartzbier, with the burnt grain taste dominating. Overall this tastes a little on the musty and oxidized side. From the 16 oz can dated 10/07/21.

Lovely looking dark lager ..darker cola brown with a gorgeous frothy tan head.
Nice malty coffee light aromas
Taste similar but with some. Ice hops in the end.
Great mouth feel. Well carbonated and medium body.
A really good Czech Dark lager.
