The brew poured golden colored and at first sip it Wow this brew is sour. It is like unsweeten limon aid or grapefruit skin. Not what I expected. Don’t order this in a glass but if you curious just get a taster tray and see what you think.

*2021 Version using Citra hops
Look: Opaque deep amber in color and even my gentle pour kicks up a frothy head that refuses to settle and coats the glass with sticky lacing
Aroma: Whoa. Crushed fresh/wet hop flowers, cut grass, grapefruit rind, berry notes, malt, and some “green beer”/priming sugar notes
Taste: Holy hell, I think my palate is officially destroyed after one sip – and I like it. Ruthless, pithy and alpha acid-laced citrus fruit and grass notes scream out of the glass as light berry notes work in, all atop some light malt sweetness. Finishes like chewing on fresh hop flowers and the bite is equally strong
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, and finishes with medium dryness
Overall: This is freaking awesome. Leave it to one of my hometown local brewers to blow me away with their fresh hop offering…again. This is the epitome of what I seek out in fresh hop IPA’s – ruthlessly aromatic, oily, bitter, ad overflowing with fresh hop character. If I didn’t know better, I’d say someone literally picked fresh hops and soaked them in my beer glass for some time before I drank it. Outstanding stuff
