Appearance: Dark black similar to porter color with a light creamy head and nice retention.
Smell: Smells malty with undertones of rye and yeast almost like fresh bread.
Taste: Starts with a malty almost light brown sugar taste and finishes with a hint of rye and roasted barley. A hint of mild hops possibly Golding or Fuggles.
Mouthfeel: slightly creamy with good carbonation and lines the palate.
Overall this beer is in my top two from this brewer between this and milk stout.
